Meet the chairman
Tony Afia
Chairman, TAF MEDIA GROUP
MR. TONY AFIA is the Chief Executive Officer of TAF and Associates Limited, owner and operator of TAF Media Group brands – Planet Radio 101.1FM, Spectrum Television and TangSio 102.7FM. Planet Radio, Spectrum Television and TangSio 102.7 FM are the first privately owned indigenous Radio, Television and vernacular-speaking Radio Stations in the Akwa-Cross region of Nigeria.
Mr. Afia obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a speciality in Finance and Banking and a Second degree in Economics from the University of North Texas, Denton Texas, United States of America.
As a renowned banker, Mr. Afia had a distinguished career in the banking sector, working for Wells Fargo, the fourth largest bank in the United States of America. He served as the Bank’s Corporate Loans Executive Officer, a position he held until he was later promoted to the position of Assistant Vice President and assigned the responsibility of managing several branches of the Bank.
He left the bank after seven (7) years of remarkable service as Assistant Vice President to establish his own company, TAF AND ASSOCIATES LIMITED. A company that handles Financial Consulting, Construction, and Media.
He is an astute Philanthropist, who takes pleasure in humanitarian services and a Community Builder who exhibits a desire and drive for community enhancement.

Suday Edet Ibiang
GENERAL MANAGER, OPERATIONS
Sunday Edet is the General Manager, Operations of TAF Media Group the conglomerate that owns and operates the Planet Radio 101.1FM, Spectrum Television and TangSio102.7FM brands in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria with the responsibility of managing the daily and long-term operational goals of the media company.
Sunday was first employed as Head of Station, Planet Radio 101.1FM in 2014 and after Six (6) years with the platform, rose to the position of General Manager Operations of the audiovisual group.
A graduate of Philosophy, University of Calabar, Sunday possesses multifaceted experience in the media industry and in development work.
Sunday has established a reputation for building partnerships with clients and brands, as well as developing lucrative relationships with key professional partners, especially in the media industry.
A devout Christian, Sunday divides his time between Church, Family and work. Although he is currently best known in the media circles, his interests have always varied. He has interests in gardening and reading memoirs.
Ekaette Johnny
HEAD OF STATION, TANGSIO102.7FM
Ms. Ekaette Johnny is a native of Ibiaku Uruan, Uruan in Akwa-Ibom State. A graduate of Chemistry from the University of Uyo, and a certified Data Analytics from Google/The Roothub. In her quest for excellence in the media and other sectors, she has attended various trainings some of which are; the APCON/National Advertising Conference, FCT, Abuja in 2019, NBC/Faheedah Marketing Communications in 2015, Lead impact University Conference, Uyo in 2018. She has worked in the media industry for a decade.
Currently, Ms. Johnny is the Head of Compliance, TAF and Associates Limited, and Head of Station Tangsio102.7Fm. Her hobbies are reading, singing and travelling.
Jane Uwa
HEAD OF NEWS, TAF MEDIA GROUP
Jane Uwa is the Head of News TAF Media Group, owners of Planet FM, Spectrum TV and Tang Sio FM. She is an experienced news editor with a demonstrated history of working in the broadcast media industry, skilled in News Writing, Editing, and Public Relations. She has a strong media and communication professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from Madonna University Okija ,Anambra State. With her knack for excellence, she is constantly propelled to break new grounds in her corporate work ethics. Her guiding principle in life is diligence in allotted tasks and trustworthiness in bonds and built relationships. She is a great team player and indeed the fulcrum of team spirit.
Amaayeneabasi Enang Esq
HEAD OF LEGAL, TAF & ASSOCIATES LTD.
Amaayeneabasi Enang Esq. is the Head of Legal of Taf and Associates Ltd. She has been in Legal practice for almost a decade. She is also a Chartered Arbitrator, Conciliator and Mediator. Furthermore, she possesses a Master’s Degree in Law. She loves reading.
Dara Udoma
On-Air Personality
Dara Udoma is an On-Air Personality at TAF Media Group, owner of Planet101.1FM, Spectrum Tv, and Tang Sio102.7FM. Her studio name is Radio Princess. She is an indigene of Ikot Abasi Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State and a graduate of History and International Relations from the Houdgbe North American University, Benin Republic.
