Akwa Ibom state governor Pastor Umo Eno to send executive bill to state house of assembly for legal backing to ARISE human capital development strategic plan
Akwa Ibom state Governor Pastor Umo Eno has announced plans to send an executive bill to the state house of assembly to give a legal backing to the ARISE human capital development strategic plan.
Speaking at the official launch of the plan, Governor Eno restated his vision for the state, which is one of inclusive growth and sustainable development, where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive and contribute meaningfully to the collective success of Akwa Ibom.
The Governor who commended President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for sustaining the human capital development programme, in line with the renewed hope agenda of the federal government, again pledged to work with the government at the center in delivering the dividends of democracy to Akwa Ibom people.
Governor Eno who restated his commitment to creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances, announced the promotion of Uduak Isaac, the focal person for the human capital development in Nigeria to level 17 in the state civil service and his immediate appointment as a permanent secretary, office of the Governor.
Government house correspondent Jane Uwa reports that earlier, the state chairman of the human capital development council, Dr. Nathaniel Adiakpan had expressed gratitude to the Governor for his support and for prioritizing human capital development in the state. He expressed the state’s commitment to fostering a conducive environment for human capital development, promoting advocacy, transparency, inclusivity, equity and opportunity for all.
