Ibom Air powers Ibom golf and country club Captain’s day inaugural tournament in Uyo as part of corporate social responsibilities
Golf lovers, industry professionals, friends and families of members of the Ibom Golf and Country Club converged at the Ibom icon hotel and golf resort, home to one of Africa’s finest courses for the Captain’s day inaugural golf tournament.
Speaking at the event designed to display spectacular golfer skill, strategy, and sportsmanship on a championship course designed to challenge and inspire were the golf captain Isua Achibong, appreciated Ibom Air for the support to host the tournament, pledging to improve the tournament.
On his part Ibom Air George Uriesi who spoke on the reason for partnering the tournament, said it was an avenue to give back to members of the public whose continued support for Ibom Air is unquestionable.
Our correspondent who attended the event reports that the two days event powered by Ibom Air which culminated in the Captain’s award and gala night , saw top professionals and government officials go home with different awards of recognition including the secretary to the Akwa Ibom State government Prince Enobong Uwah.
